The Affirmative Team Declare Darlo Debating Teams are Winners!

Debating is being taught in Years 3-6 every Friday morning as part of cross stage learning experiences. Representative teams are being ‘coached' by a teacher who is a trained debating adjudicator in preparation for a competitive season against other schools in the Sydney Region, inter school debating competition.

We also have a new and exciting co-curricular activity at Darlo- The Junior School Debating Team. Students in Year 2 will have the opportunity to meet at lunch times on Thursdays to participate in a range of debating games and activities to increase their skills, confidence and  to prepare them for future opportunities in school debating competitions.
